Wow! I was knee deep working against Prop 22 as a driver and knew we were fighting against unethical companies, but did not know all of this. It was completely frustrating to see the amount of misinformation disseminated by the rideshare corporations about their unjust law. These companies manipulate the idea of an independent contractor and exploit their workers in innumerable ways.

They used $200 million to sell lies to drivers, the public, politicians and non-profit groups. Prop 22 is a horrible law and a threat to all workers as it opens the door for other industries to contract workers to cut down on costs. As drivers, we will continue to fight for our rights and against this unjust law.
