Sorry, I disagree here. I know plenty of children who have been raised wonderfully on a tight budget. Many of them are extremely successful and well adjusted. Love and attention are non-negotiable however. As a lifelong teacher, I can confidently say that children absolutely recognize when they are not welcome. However, with that said, they also need to learn self-suffiency, and parenting makes everyone feel exhausted and overwhelmed at times. It does get easier…
